Review Process

Review Form (docx)     Review Form (PDF)

Upon submission, all manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the editor(s) to determine their suitability for the review process. If necessary, an Editorial Board member may provide additional input in making this decision. To optimize the time of both authors and reviewers, only manuscripts deemed likely to meet the journal’s editorial standards are forwarded for formal peer review.

Manuscripts selected for review are typically assigned to two referees with relevant expertise in the subject matter. A key editorial priority is to ensure that submitted papers are reviewed as efficiently as possible.

Reviewers assess the manuscript’s scientific rigor and coherence, evaluating its overall quality. Additionally, they indicate whether they consider the work to be particularly novel or of significant interest within its field.

The journal follows a strict peer-review policy, and no manuscript is accepted or published without undergoing this process. Based on reviewer feedback, the editor may decide:

  • to accept the manuscript, either as submitted or with minor revisions;
  • to request revisions from the authors to address specific concerns before making a final decision;
  • to reject the manuscript, typically due to limited specialist interest, lack of novelty, insufficient conceptual contribution, or significant technical or interpretational flaws.

While referees may suggest a specific course of action in their confidential comments to the editor, the final decision considers the strength of arguments from both reviewers and authors. Editorial decisions are based on a thorough evaluation rather than a simple tally of recommendations.

Authors receive the anonymous reviewers’ feedback. In cases where reviewers provide conflicting opinions or authors believe their work has been misinterpreted, additional input may be sought. If necessary, further expert consultation or input from the Editorial Board may be requested, though this is done only when required to resolve specific issues.

The review policy ensures that submitted manuscripts remain confidential, and their content is not disclosed before publication. Anyone involved in the review process is expected to refrain from using privileged information gained through access to a manuscript inappropriately.

The review process is designed to ensure that all authors have an equal opportunity for publication. No additional criteria beyond the formal review standards will be imposed to influence acceptance or publication scheduling.

Manuscripts must be written in English and should not have been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. Authors are required to format their submissions according to the designated template.

The Editor-in-Chief, along with editors, will make the final decision regarding publication and notify the authors accordingly.

Once accepted, manuscripts undergo editorial review to refine presentation, style, and grammar. The final decision made by the Editorial Board is conclusive.
